Data analysis and visualization

We handle much more data today than we did years ago. We create more data in 2 years than was created in centuries. Due, to the expansion of digital transformation. With such a large amount of data a new area for data analysis was born even called data science. In this analysis processes and/or algorithms are created to find patterns that are useful. Relationships to extract information about specific problems. With this make good decisions to improve processes and increase efficiency.

Cloud-based data storage provides easy access to your data. Using online analytical tools, you can explore and visualize data. You can discover relationships, patterns and trends in the data. You can calculate new data. And you can visualize it in charts, graphs and gauges.

What do we do with your data?

At Custom Control Colombia, we help companies lead them to digital transformation through the use of Data Analytics. We can digitize your operations, reduce operating costs and understand how your data correlates to make decisions in real time.

For the development of the analysis, we based ourselves on García Marco’s knowledge pyramid. From the data that can be collected, information is generated and then knowledge. With which, experienced people can make the best decisions. Thus, new knowledge is established on recorded and calculated facts; not by intuition.

How do we do it?

We gain valuable knowledge from Data Analysis. We can extract significant data (maxima, minima, averages, deviations), draw conclusions, test models, discard theories and decide on actions to take.

Data collection can be performed by our IoT equipment. This equipment can create its own database and can also use an existing database. With this collected data, cleaning methods and extraction of important information for the customer are applied. Finally, they are presented in a web service through a dashboard which is designed with high performance HMI techniques.

Data visualization

Data visualization can be performed on any device. The device must be able to connect to the local network of the data collection equipment. These devices can be: cell phones, tablets and computers. From these devices it is possible to consult general information such as: historical data, statistical data (maximums, minimums, deviations and averages), comparison of data from different sensors or information sources.

The information presented is based on suggestions described in best practices for the presentation of a high performance HMI. This implies drawings, indicators, alarms and graphs presented are designed with the purpose of being easily identified by the user and avoiding visual fatigue. Generated by a correct use of color presentation on the screens.

Depending on its size, an organization generates hundreds or thousands of data. And if this data is not processed, it ends up being forgotten and wasted. Especially with Data Analytics. You can get the most out of the data. Therefore, useful information is generated that supports decision making. Thus, it increases the efficiency in the operations and/or processes of organizations regardless of their size.
